Bolivia has been experiencing a powerful social movement against President Rodrigo Paz's austerity measures since the spring of 2026. Led by trade union, peasant and indigenous organizations, the mobilization is facing growing repression while maintaining its demands against the high cost of living and the grip of multinationals.
